Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.
This week we have continued learning all about people who help us. We have learnt about nurses, police officers and fire fighters and had a visit from Hollie the children's nurse, Adam and Anna the police officers and a group of firefighters last Friday. They told us all about what they do for their job, we squirted the hoses, wore some of the police officer's uniform and we even handcuffed Mrs Heard!!!!!!
We have continued learning the story of 'The Little Red Hen' and we have created a story snake of the story and acted it out. We have also started making our very own bread this week too! It looked and smelt very yummy!!
In maths we have been finding out about repeating patterns. We have looked at different patterns, continued patterns and created our own patterns.
In RE we have been thinking about what is special about our world and looked at some photos of some amazing places around the world. We also had a walk around school to find different things that we think are special too.
Welcome to our new EYFS children.
People who help us visits
The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
