Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.
We have had a very busy week this week.......we had our trip to Layer Marney tower, dressed as pirates, where we learnt new pirate skills, made a hat, a hook, a flag and a sword, did a treasure hunt and learnt some pirate dancing!! We also had a camp day where we did some rubbing, decorated a dolly peg and built a home for them using natural materials, cooked marshmallows over a campfire and turned them in to s'mores, did a treasure hunt and a scavenger hunt and had lots of fun in the tents!!
We have also learnt about plastic pollution using the story, 'Someone Swallowed Stanley' as a stimulus. The children all decided that it was very important that we should all help to save our oceans. We also talked about David Attenborough and the important work that he has done over many years.
Finally we continued our learning about explorers and imagined what we would be like if we were an explorer and where we would like to visit and why!

Welcome to our new EYFS children.
The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
