EYFS

Welcome to Acorn and Conker classes...

Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.

Our Summer 1 topic - Who will save the day?

Take a look at what we have been up to this week..

We are started our first week back with a big shock!!!!!! Someone had stolen all the fruit and vegetables in the school kitchen!!!! It even hit the BBC news!!! We had read the story 'Supertato' and we thought that it must have been Evil Pea who had stolen all the fruit and vegetables!!!! We spent a long time looking for clues and thinking about how we could create traps!! We wrote all the clues in our 'Super detective notebook!'

We have also learnt about where different food comes from and how far it travels to get to us.

In RE we have been thinking about special times in our lives and special times that Christians celebrate in church.

In PE we have started learning some cricket skills......throwing and catching accurately, and we have loved getting the wall bars out in the hall as part of our large apparatus lessons.

Fingers crossed that we can catch that Evil Pea!!!

Welcome to our new EYFS children.

The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
