Sport Links

There is a growing body of research that links physical activity to improvements in educational achievement. That is because sport helps children develop character and to learn important social and brain skills such as problem-solving, resilience, perseverance, confidence and teamwork.
Tiptree and Stanway Consortium PE Group

Specialist members of staff always aim to keep abreast of new movements and initiatives, and the school plays an integral part of the Tiptree and Stanway Consortium PE Group.

 

Premier Education currently run Basketball and Football clubs at St. Luke's. They also offer holiday clubs at different locations across Essex.

 

Karate Club is held on a Wednesday evening at St. Luke's; this is led by Tracey and Carl Martin.

 

Thurstable is the secondary school located within Tiptree. This venue offers a range of evening, weekend and holiday activities.

 

This programme is run every year and has previously been held at St. Luke's School.

 

A fantastic trust that supports children with additional needs and disabilities to participate in sports.

 

Essex Cricket offer engagement days and sessions in school; there are also opportunities for pupils to participate in out of school events.
