Tiptree St Luke's Primary School is looking for a Co-opted School Governor to join our Governing Body.
This is a rewarding voluntary role where you can make a real difference to the education and wellbeing of local children. You do not need to be a parent of a child at the school, just someone with enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to support our school community.
As a governor, you will:
Help set the school's strategic direction
Support and challenge school leaders to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
Oversee finances and ensure resources are used effectively
Contribute your skills, experience, and fresh perspectives
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and professions. Whether you have experience in education, business, finance, HR, marketing, health, community work, or simply a passion for helping young people succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
The role involves attending governing body meetings (usually twice a term), reading papers in advance, and visiting the school once a term.
