Autumn 1 topic - It's good to be me!

Have a look at what we have been up to this week..

This week we started 'Drawing Club' using the book, 'The Colour Monster' as a stimulus. We drew our own special monsters and then created a numerical and written code which then made our monster do something!!!! The children had some great ideas and used their imagination to think of some wonderful things that their monster could do!

We have been learning about all different kinds of families and the children have enjoyed sharing their own family photographs, discussing who is in their family and where their photographs were taken.

In maths we have been exploring 'matching' and looking at whether objects are the same or different, and how they are the same or different.

We enjoyed our first two PE lessons, one using large balls outside and one all about following instructions indoors.

The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
