Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.
This week we have been learning all about Africa: where it is in the world, famous landmarks in Africa, animals in Africa, what life is like for children in different parts of Africa and what some of the different flags for all the countries in Africa look like.
We had a very exciting zoom call with some children in the Imara in Africa, with Mrs Marshall, a teacher who used to work at St. Luke's and is now living out in Kenya. We sang a song for the children and they sang some songs for us. We asked each other questions and discussed what life was like in both schools. It was a wonderful experience.
To culminate our week we did a sponsored colour run to raise money for the Imara in Africa and also to buy resources for our class. The children ran around the field in their groovy glasses and had coloured paint thrown at them!!! It was a lovely afternoon and the children had lots and lots of fun.

Welcome to our new Conker Class
The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
