Our Autumn 1 topic - 'It's good to be me!'
Take a look at what we have been up to this week..
This week we have talked about all the different kinds of families that there are. The children then shared their own family photographs and explained who they all were and where the photographs were taken. We also drew pictures of our families.
In maths we have been doing lots of matching activities. Matching by shape, colour, function, size and quantity.
During the week we have found tracks appearing in our classroom overnight!! One day there was a London bus at the end of them, the next day was a book called 'The Naughty Bus' and then finally we caught the naughty bus hiding in the toilet!! We then read the story and are looking forward to learning it as part of our 'Talk for Writing' program.
We had our first PE lessons this week too, where we learnt how to follow instructions and how to roll, pat and aim a large ball.

The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
