Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.
This week we had our school trip to Danbury Country park. We had a special pirate day where we all dressed up as pirates.
We went to pirate school and learnt how to throw a grappling hook, how to sleep in a hammock, how to balance along the rigging and how to walk the plank!!!
We hid some treasure a then drew a treasure map for others to find our treasure!
We created a huge pirate ship with pieces of wood together as a team. We learnt the names of the different parts of the ship. Finally we made colourful flags by rubbing the bark on a tree with special crayons on to some cloth. We attached them to our ship to finish it off.
We all had a fantastic day and learnt lots of new skills.

Welcome to our new EYFS children.
The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
