EYFS

Welcome to the Conker class...

Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.

Our Spring 1 topic - 'Why don't snakes have legs?'

Take a look at what we have been up to this week..

This week we found large footprints in our classroom and a video of a T-Rex entering our playground!!!!!!!!  We then learnt all about the T-Rex and have written some interesting facts about them. We have also learnt about the stegosaurus and the diplodocus and were amazed that they had brains the size of a walnut!!!

We have also started our new talk for writing book, 'The Dinosaur who lost his roar!!' We have looked at the special vocabulary in the book and made up our own dinosaur stories.

In maths we have been exploring odd and even numbers as well as finding different ways of representing different numbers. We particularly enjoyed sharing one of our maths lesson with our parents on Thursday.

We also visited St. Luke's church this week. Wendy gave us a tour and showed us what all the different things in the church are used for or mean.

Welcome to our new Conker Class

The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
