EYFS

Welcome to Acorn and Conker classes...

Here you can find out about our learning and see what Early Years is all about.

Our Summer 1 topic - Who will save the day?

Take a look at what we have been up to this week..

Well, Evil Pea has been up to no good all week, trapping fruit and vegetables in all kinds of places!!!! We created a story map to go with the story, 'Supertato' and then acted it out.

We have talked about healthy living and all the different things we can do to keep fit and healthy, including the right kinds of food to eat. We also looked at the favourite food collages the children had made during the Easter holidays and we wrote some sentences about them. We also discussed how to keep our teeth health and we all had a go at brushing our teeth correctly and for the right amount of time. We had beautiful smiles afterwards!!

We have started making our own Superhero puppets using wooden spoons. They look great.

In PE we have continued our cricket skills lessons and have been learning how to be 'brilliant bowlers!' We have especially enjoyed creating different sequences on the large apparatus and climbing on the big wall bars.

In RE we have been thinking about wedding and why they are such a special occasion for Christians.

Welcome to our new EYFS children.

The resources in EYFS are played with thoroughly almost every day and from time to time they don't make it in one piece. If you have a surplus of toys please check our Wish List to see it you can fill a gap in our resourcing needs.
